Welsh Wednesdays: Welsh fiction at the #LlandeiloBookFair on Dec 10th in #Llandeilo

Here are a few of the many amazing books with Welsh flavour to be presented at the Llandeilo Book Fair on Dec 10th in the Civic Hall in Llandeilo

Wales is a land of mystery and being a Celtic race the Welsh are fantastic story tellers. According to Graham it was the Welsh legends that started his writing career. He's also written three novels including 'The Iron Masters' a Welsh historical novel set in Merthyr during the Napoleonic Wars and a number of business help books. Today, he describes himself as a novelist, hobby farmer and explorer. http://www.grahamwatkins.info/

Welsh Cakes and Custard and Three Cheers for Wales are about the adventures of Betsi Wyn and Emyr Rhys and feature their grandparents too, Mam-gu and Da-cu. Each book includes five stories with a strong Welsh flavour, a child-friendly recipe and some traditional songs. Wendy writes for adults under the pen name Sara Gethin.

Dr Jen Llywelyn wrote her PhD thesis on George M. Ll. Davies (1880-1949), a charismatic and complex man; he is still revered by many in Wales as a pacifist and peace-maker, who went to prison for his beliefs
